Advancing Storm

I've been preselected to exhibit at the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition. Advancing Storm is the largest piece I've produced to date, and I'm delighted with it's impact when seen in the flesh.

The work is now London, and I should hear on Tuesday whether it has been selected.

The exhibition will be at the Mall Galleries from the 5th to the 14th October.

Snow on the far hills

The Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition of Art 2017 is now on until 1st October. My recent work, Snow on the far hills was accepted for the exhibition, and I was delighted to hear that it sold at the preview. Sadly, I couldn't be there myself as I had a prior commitment, cycling up mountains in France!

One of my works is on the cover of a book! Atop of Sandale has been chosen as the cover art for Marie-Elsa Bragg's new book, Towards Mellbreak.

I think that the cover looks brilliant, and the contents are a wonderful evocation of the both the people, and the landscape, where both Marie-Elsa and myself spent much of our childhoods.

I'd strongly encourage you to get a copy, available from Amazon.
